Fredrik Sjoberg is a Brooklyn-based tech startup founder and experienced hotel operator. He has developed and managed boutique hotels as well as operated a family-owned hotel group in Scandinavia.
Dr. Sjoberg is also an award winning behavioral social scientist with publications in a range of peer-reviewed journals. He has completed postdoctoral work at New York University (2011-2012) and at Columbia University (2012-2013). He has a PhD in Political Science from Uppsala University (2011), a MPhil degree in Political Science from London School of Economics (LSE) (2009). In 2008-2008 he was a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University.
From 2013 to 2019 he worked as a senior data scientist at the World Bank, where he conducted research on digital transformation of public services.
