Dr. Matthew Vaughan is a former technology consultant, and his classes at NYU draw on that professional experience. As an adjunct instructor in the MS in Professional Writing program, Matthew teaches the Technical Writing for the Information Professions elective course. He is also a rotating faculty member for the Directed Study/Internship course.
Matthew is a full-time Instructional Designer at Columbia University. A former public school teacher in Tennessee, Matthew came to NYC in 2011. His PhD dissertation was a philosophy of education, asking questions about what it means to learn through dialogue.
