<p><span class="p-body">“Through studying Peacebuilding, I gained an intersectional understanding that went beyond peace and conflict to include gender, humanitarian aid, development, sustainability, and monitoring and evaluation issues," she notes. </span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">Strasser was part of the CGA consulting practicum with the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders, led by Anne Marie Goetz, ane experience that strengthened Straser's communication and teamwork skills. During her studies, she earned an internship opportunity with the United Nations Department of Peace Operations as a security sector and gender specialist intern. </span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">Reflecting upon the professional connections she made and the knowledge and skills acquired during her course of study, Strasser says, “I am proud to have graduated alongside a cohort of peers and friends who I know are equipped with the skills and knowledge to enact positive change globally.”</span></p>
