Applicants to our Associate and Bachelor's degrees must have completed some college credit in order to apply to the summer or fall semesters. Applicants who have not completed any college coursework may apply to the spring semester. Learn more about the admission process and requirements.

An AAS in Information Systems Management helps you enter a fast-growing, in-demand field. It will prepare you to design, operate, and evaluate competitive technology alternatives to meet an organization’s needs. You will learn the basic concepts of computer technology and how to apply it accurately and appropriately in workplace settings. You also will be introduced to changing trends in computer technology and their future impacts, as well as the legal and ethical issues regarding the handling of data.

Recipients of a computer information systems-related degree program may pursue careers in local, state, or federal government; nonprofit organizations; the private sector; or cultural institutions.

An Associate of Arts (AA) focuses on a liberal arts-based general education, while an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Information Systems Management hones in on business technology and computer information systems.
