NYU School of Professional Studies Division of Programs in Business To Host Tax Conferences in New York City, July 15-26, 2024

<p><span class="p-body"><i>Eight Individual Sessions Will Feature Distinct Discussions on International and Partnership Taxation, Trusts and Estates, and Like-Kind Exchanges</i></span></p>
<p><span class="p-body"><b>New York, July 1, 2024</b> - This year, the <a href="/content/sps-nyu/homepage.html"><b>NYU School of Professional Studies</b></a> <b>(NYU SPS) </b><a href="/content/sps-nyu/about/academic-divisions-and-departments/division-of-programs-in-business/finance-and-taxation.html" target="_self"><b>Division of Programs in Business Finance and Taxation</b></a><b> </b>programs will host the NYU Tax Conferences throughout July. Beginning July 15 through July 26, the conference will take place at the Westin New York in Times Square, and focus on a range of topics including international and partnership taxation, trusts and estates, local and state taxation, and like-kind exchanges.</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">For the introductory offerings, the conferences are designed to provide an introduction to fundamental concepts and practical applications. For the advanced conferences, attendees explore sophisticated tax concepts reflecting the most important transaction-based tax topics in their field, including new developments in legislation and regulations. Conferences range from 1.5 to 3 days.</span></p>

<li><span class="p-body"><b>Introduction to International Taxation</b> - The Introduction to International Taxation Conference provides a broad-based foundation in the federal income taxation of cross-border (both “inbound” and “outbound”) transactions and circumstances.</span></li>
<li><span class="p-body"><b>Introduction to Trusts & Estates</b> - The Introduction to Trusts and Estates Conference explains many taxes and tax issues applicable to gratuitous transfers by individuals, trusts, and estates.</span></li>

<li><span class="p-body"><b>Advanced International Taxation </b>- The Advanced International Taxation Conference explores controversial and emerging issues and opportunities in the area of international taxation, including tax planning, eligibility issues, and international mergers and acquisitions.</span></li>
<li><span class="p-body"><b>Advanced Trusts & Estates</b> - The Advanced Trusts and Estates Conference moves beyond the basics of the taxation of trusts and estates to discuss more detailed planning opportunities, issues, techniques, and pitfalls. </span></li>
