Tobie Langsam, Research Scholar

Tobie Langsam is an Educational Sport and Exercise Psychology Specialist and has received Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Education specializing in Sport and Exercise Psychology and a Master’s of Science (M.S.) in Exercise Science specializing in Sport and Exercise Psychology both from Springfield College in Springfield, MA and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lafayette College in Easton, PA (B.A.).  Prior to joining NYUSS she worked as an adjunct professor at Adelphi University teaching Sport and Exercise Psychology, worked with athletes as a performance consultant, and was a high school and collegiate pole vault coach.  She has previously presented on parental influence and athletes (college age and elementary school age) and mental skills training.  Her current research focuses on youth sport and athlete physical and mental health.
