The Campus Safety Leadership Development Program is a comprehensive professional development certificate designed to prepare mid-level campus safety professionals for senior leadership roles within higher education institutions.
The program integrates technical security expertise with strategic leadership principles, providing participants the ability to enhance institutional resilience, manage complex interagency partnerships, and foster a culture of compliance, care, and safety across campus communities. Additionally, the program incorporates key higher education legal and compliance foundations, including Title IX, Title VI, the Clery Act, and related institutional responsibilities involving civil rights protections, campus safety, reporting obligations, risk mitigation, and duty of care. Learners will engage with real world challenges facing higher education safety organizations while developing practical leadership competencies that support career advancement and organizational impact. This certificate is awarded to students who successfully complete three required courses.In-person
