The NYU School of Professional Studies (NYUSPS) Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies provides undergraduate pathways to students who seek to pursue their educational goals, while balancing work and/or personal responsibilities. Our degree programs empower you to take charge of your destiny and to move ahead no matter where you find yourself in your life, education, and career. 

In today's competitve job market, earning your associates degree can open the doors to a broad range of career options and can also serve as the basis for additonal study. Our highly affordable associates degree programs are designed to provide you with the immediately applicable skills sought by hiring managers, combined with a solid liberal arts core that will serve to broaden your horizons, develop your critical thinking skills, and help you to communicate in a complex world. 

If you have already earned an associates degree, or the equivalent of 60 transferable college credits, you can continue your education by enrolling in one of our bachelors degree programs, which will allow you to increase your knowledge in a specific field while benefitting from courses in the liberal arts—the hallmark of a well-rounded NYU education.

To accomodate our students busy schedules, classes are offered during the day and in the evenings, in-person and online, providing flexibility so that you can continue to meet your personal and professional obligations while earning your degree. Our faculty members, who are renowned scholars and respected professionals also are dedicated teachers and mentors. Throughout your entire course of study, they will provide one-on-one academic advising to ensure that you meet your goals and objectives. 

Our innovative, 24-credit Access Program provides high school students with an option to gain additonal preparation for college prior to making the critical committment to enrolling in a community college or a four-year institution of higher learning.
