Tisch Institute Team Probes Latino Inclusion in US Sports
Graduate research highlights Latino representation in pro and collegiate sports

<p><span class="p-body">A recent study entitled <i>Beyond the Game: Advancing Latino Representation and Inclusion Across US Sports</i>, conducted by Tisch Institute grad student researchers Gina Duran, Nicole Landeta, and Ronald Morales in conjunction with <a href="https://latinosinsports.com/#">Latinos in Sports (LiS)</a>, explores the significant influence and potential of the Latino demographic across major US sports leagues--NFL, NBA, MLB, WNBA, MLS, and college sports--and how these organizations might better engage and represent this vital community.</span></p>

Drawing on insights from the <i>TIDES Reports</i> and <i>Nielsen’s Game Changer: The Power of Latino Fandom</i>, their report underscores the importance of a dedicated approach to meaningfully engage Latino sports fans and amplify Latino talent across the industry.</span></p>
