The NYU SPS Schack Institute of Real Estate Hosts the 9th Annual Conference on Sustainable Real Estate on February 2, 2026
<p><span class="p-body"><i>2026 Event Focuses on How Climate, Community, and Capital Come Together to Build a More Resilient World</i></span></p>
<p><span class="p-body"><b>New York, January 26, 2026 — </b>Building on the success of last year’s conference, the <a href="/content/sps-nyu/about/events/schack-institute-of-real-estate-division-events/sustainable-real-estate-conference.html" target="_blank"><b>9th Annual NYU SPS Conference on Sustainable Real Estate</b></a> delves deeper into the research data and innovation shaping the real estate built environment and the next decade of this dynamic industry. The 2026 edition of this premier forum for the real estate built environment, hosted by the <a href="https://www.sps.nyu.edu/"><b>NYU School of Professional Studies (NYU SPS)</b></a> <a href="https://www.sps.nyu.edu/homepage/academics/divisions-and-departments/schack-institute-of-real-estate.html"><b>Schack Institute for Real Estate</b></a>, will take place at the <a href="https://www.nyu.edu/life/campus-resources/kimmel-center.html" target="_blank"><b>NYU Kimmel Center for University Life</b></a> on February 2.</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">"The real estate industry is the implementation vehicle for sustainability innovation. Even with some current reversals and headwinds, it is clear that the efficiencies built into climate solutions create better developments and better deals for tenants, lenders, and investors,” said <b>Marc Norman, Larry and Klara Silverstein Chair, associate dean at the NYU SPS Schack Institute, and conference co-host</b>.</span></p>
