<p><span class="p-body"><i>New Collaboration includes Joint Sports Diplomacy and Academic Programs and Projects</i></span></p> <p><span class="p-body"><b>New York, July 21, 2026 — </b>The NYU School of Professional Studies (NYU SPS) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia today announced a collaboration to support and promote the power of sports in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.</span></p> <p><span class="p-body">The collaboration will enable NYU SPS Preston Robert Tisch Institute for Global Sport students and faculty to work directly with Ministry officials and team members to help amplify and elevate the Indonesian sports culture. Together, they will address real-world projects through joint sports diplomacy initiatives, academic fellowships, and scholarship programs. This will include:</span></p> <ul class="p-list"> <li><span class="p-body">Designing and offering co-branded certificate programs</span></li> <li><span class="p-body">Arranging and coordinating student capstone projects</span></li> <li><span class="p-body">Hosting joint global conferences in New York City and Jakarta</span></li> <li><span class="p-body">Creating continuing education courses and leadership and development programs at NYU</span></li> </ul> <p><span class="p-body">“At NYU SPS, we are driven by giving students real-world experience outside the classroom,” said <a href="/content/sps-nyu/about/nyu-sps-angie-kamath.html"><b>Angie Kamath</b></a><b>, Harvey J.
