The International Strategic Crisis Negotiation Exercise (ISCNE) is a modified version of the War College’s International Fellows Strategic Crisis Negotiation Exercise, and is designed to expose a curated cohort of master's degree students to the processes and complexities inherent in the execution of international diplomacy and strategic-level negotiations. These negotiations encompass both international and intra-national dimensions, featuring global and regional implications.
Students simulated crisis negotiations in Central Asia over a host of issues including water, defense and security, borders, foreign influence, and violent extremism. Alumni of this program have gone on to careers in US and foreign government, the UN, NGOs, tech companies, big banks, and management consulting.
