The CGA Co-hosts an International Conference on US-Greek Policies in Europe and the Mediterranean with the University of Piraeus

<p><span class="p-body">The CGA, in collaboration with the University of Piraeus and the Council for International Relations-Greece, hosted an international conference on US-Greek Policies in Europe and the Mediterranean. The two-day conference was opened with welcoming remarks by the US Ambassador to Greece, George J. Tsunis, who highlighted the importance of educational exchange and cooperation.</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">CGA Associate Dean Carolyn Kissane and Academic Director Sylvia Maier participated in panels alongside academics from the University of Piraeus and other academic institutions and experts from government and media.</span></p>

<p><span class="p-body">The conference highlighted the CGA’s continued cooperation with the University of Piraeus and their MSc in American Studies: Politics, Strategy & Economics. The partnership, which began in 2021, includes co-taught courses by CGA faculty with those in the American Studies at Piraeus in addition to a joint short-term summer program in Greece with both groups of students. </span></p>
