<p><span class="p-body"><i>The article was published on July 18, 2024</i></span></p> <p><span class="p-body">CGA's Clinical Associate Professor, Mary Beth Altier, PhD, recently hosted a workshop&nbsp;with the University of Leeds on the development of standards and guidelines for the inclusion of formers in preventing and countering violent extremism initiatives.<br> <br> The workshop brought together practitioners from government, NGOs, the private sector, and international organizations as well as scholars working on prevention and disengagement and de-radicalization initiatives across the world to discuss and debate this important, complex issue.
