<p><span class="p-body">Carly Chase began her relationship with the SPS Wasserman Career Center as a guest speaker at our yearly signature networking mixer, The Power of Connections. She also volunteered as a Mentor Coach in the spring, providing advice to graduating students who were navigating today’s tough job marke</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">This summer, Carly met with Dean Kamath and Diana DeCubellis to confirm her dedication to helping students succeed, as well as to share her research and observations about how the job application and networking process has radically changed in the age of AI and amid current times. She proposed hosting a series of workshops to be offered throughout the 2025-2026 academic year, along with periodic coaching and mentoring sessions in between, to reinforce the content. Dean Kamath proposed that Carly could serve as Wasserman’s Executive in Residence for this academic year, an idea that both Carly and the Wasserman Center were excited about.</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">Here is the proposed scope of duties Carly would provide to SPS Wasserman and our entire community of students:</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body"><b>Program Overview: Designing What’s Next: Guiding Your Path from Campus to Career</b><br />
A year-long workshop series empowering NYU students to take charge of their professional journeys. Beyond just finding a job, this series teaches you how to proactively manage your career as a continuous skill set that will serve you throughout your working life. Through four interactive workshops, you’ll build self-awareness, identify meaningful opportunities, and cultivate authentic relationships that support your growth over time. You’ll gain the mindset, tools, and strategies to navigate change, make intentional decisions, and design a fulfilling and evolving career path well beyond graduation.</span></p>
