NYU Culture Fest is a student-led festival uniting food, art, and storytelling. Experience dishes from around the world, watch inspiring food films, and explore cultural showcases that reflect the global heartbeat of NYU.
Morning Session:

<p><span class="p-body">Join us for an energizing morning that celebrates perseverance and personal success— connect with NYU faculty and industry leaders, explore how the <a href="/content/sps-nyu/explore/degrees-and-programs/aas-in-hospitality-management.html"><b>NYU AAS in Hospitality Management</b></a> can open doors to thriving careers, and experience a powerful film screening that reinforces the theme of resilience and achievement.</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an Instant Decision Day. This event provides applicants with immediate decisions on their completed applications. For those with incomplete applications, this event offers personalized consultations to provide guidance on fulfilling requirements. This streamlined process helps applicants quickly move forward in the admissions process.</span></p>

<p><span class="p-body"><span class="p-body-large-bold">Silver Center, Jurow Lecture Hall, 1 PM - 3 PM in collaboration with the Ceres Food Film Festival, the NYU Steinhardt Department of Nutrition and Food Studies, and the NYU SPS Tisch Center of Hospitality</span></span></p>
<p>Join us for a dynamic afternoon of film, food, and conversation celebrating the rich culinary heritage of Hong Kong. Presented in collaboration with the <a href="https://www.ceresfilmfest.org/" target="_blank">Ceres Food Film Festival</a>, the <a href="https://steinhardt.nyu.edu/departments/nutrition-and-food-studies" target="_blank">NYU Steinhardt Department of Nutrition and Food Studies</a>, and the <a href="/content/sps-nyu/about/academic-divisions-and-departments/jonathan-m-tisch-center-of-hospitality.html">NYU SPS Tisch Center of Hospitality</a>, this special event brings together storytelling, scholarship, and hands-on culinary artistry.</p>
<p><i>Vibrant Hong Kong Table</i>, directed by Liza de Guia, explores the resilience, creativity, and cultural identity embedded in Hong Kong’s food traditions through the lens of plant-based chef and cookbook author, Christine Wong. Through intimate storytelling and stunning visuals, the film highlights how cuisine serves as both memory and movement.</p>
<p>Following the screening, Chef Christine Wong will join student leaders for a lively conversation about food as cultural expression, sustainability, and diasporic identity. The program will conclude with a live mooncake demonstration by Chef Christine, and a tasting reception, inviting guests to experience flavors inspired by the film.</p>

<p><span class="p-body">Global Village is an annual celebration at the NYU School of Professional Studies (SPS) during which we come together as a community to celebrate our diversity. Together we travel, explore, and honor the cultures, music, dance, and foods of our peers who hail from across the country and around the world. #WeareSPS truly embodies our diversity, inclusiveness, and the core principles to accept, value, and welcome all.</span></p>

</b>Every year, the SPS Student Council selects an organization to support through our fundraising efforts at Global Village.
