The Schack Professional Development & Leadership (PDL) Hub seeks to move Schack students and the broader CRE industry forward by providing industry-specific professional development support to both graduate and undergraduate students.
Our goal is to prepare future leaders for a wide range of high-impact roles within the dynamic landscape of commercial real estate. Recognizing the importance of power skills in enduring executive careers, we also seek to foster students’ long-term leadership abilities through workshops, coursework, and events.
In all its work, the PDL Hub serves as a strategic nexus for industry and alumni engagement, connecting students with leaders who are shaping the field. By working hand-in-hand with the NYU SPS Wasserman Center, the PDL Hub integrates specialized career resources with the broader support of SPS’s main career center.

Events & Workshops
The Schack Real Estate Professional Development & Leadership Hub team includes former CRE professionals and hiring managers as well as long-term employer and alumni relations professionals. We know well the challenges and opportunities hiring firms face in today’s shifting market and work to align our graduates with current and future talent needs.
