Shavon has nearly a decade of cross-sector experience spanning private equity, institutional real estate, public-sector consulting, community development, and transit-oriented development. She is founder and managing partner of Set + Place Development Advisors, a real estate consultancy working at the intersection of public-private partnerships, capital, and community. Her research examines the effects of real estate development on Black communities across the United States. Shavon holds a Master of Real Estate Development and Urbanism from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Law & Policy from the University of Michigan.
