Considering grad school or a cybersecurity career? Spend two weeks in NYC with NYU SPS experts exploring cyber threats, policy, and emerging technologies. This course examines cybersecurity’s political and regulatory landscape, analyzing data privacy, infrastructure protection, and cyber warfare. Through case studies, students will explore ethical challenges, security trends, and innovations like AI, blockchain, and IoT.

Housing

Staying at NYU

Apartment-style NYU housing is available for students in this program. Check-in will be Sunday, July 20 through Saturday, August 2nd. Direct housing costs will be $90 per night for a shared room or $135 per night for a single. Housing is limited and subject to availability. The priority deadline is March 28, 2025

  • NYU International Student Charge: $90
  • I-20 Processing Charge: $50
  • DS-160 Processing Charge: $185
  • SEVIS Fee: $350 (F-1 visas)
  • NYU Student Health Insurance: $93/week

(Please note that the DS-160 Charge and SEVIS Fees are payable to US Dept of State and the US Dept of Homeland Security)

Faculty Lead: Dr. Danny Steed

Dr. Danny Steed is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Center for Global Affairs. He is a seasoned public speaker, consultant, author, educator, and project lead, specialising in national security affairs and cyber security.
