Center for Publishing and Applied Liberal Arts

The Malkemes Scholarship

The Malkemes Scholarship is available to MS in Professional Writing and MS in Translation and Interpreting students beginning their graduate studies in these two fully online, innovative degree programs. The award aims to support students entering either program with a focus on work that advances issues of equity and inclusion and will contribute to the cost of the first semester in either program ($5000 per award).

Apply here if you are an admitted student to the MS in Professional Writing or MS in Translation and Interpreting. Students receiving tuition remission from NYU are not eligible for Malkemes Scholarships. New students will have the opportunity to apply once they have received their NYU SPS admissions letter.

Application deadline is January 5. The scholarship is available to full- or part-time students. We encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds and professional interests.
