Patrick Barnett teaches TRAN1-GC3195 - Intellectual Property & Patent Translation. After graduating from the University of Michigan Law School, Patrick began his career as an attorney at White & Case LLP. Having realized that there were opportunities in the translation industry, he started working as a full-time translator (German to English) nearly 20 years ago. During this time, he has focused on translating legal documents and patent applications. When he's not engaged in translation or teaching, he pursues his passions of travel and gardening.
