Maddy rejoined NYU as an Adjunct Instructor in 2021. She is a full-time researcher at Ogilvy, supporting research efforts across the organization’s PR, advertising, and strategy practices for a wide range of clients, including in technology, B2B, financial services, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, retail, CPG, and more. Principally a primary researcher, her work includes custom studies like surveys, interviews, online focus groups, quantitative data analysis, qualitative coding, reporting, and beyond. She gets her kicks collaborating with non-researchers to optimize study designs and ask the right questions.

Prior to joining Ogilvy, Maddy worked on research and evaluation teams at GLSEN and NYU Steinhardt’s Metro Center. She also served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis in a program evaluation position. In these roles, she focused on applied research in support of safety, equity, and inclusion in K-12 education.

Maddy holds an M.A. in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University and a B.A. in Anthropology from Ball State University.
