Carolyn teaches Campaign I: Strategy & Execution in the Integrated Marketing program at NYU.

She is the Founder of Industrious Agency, a leadership consultancy offering custom learning and development services for sales, marketing and creative leaders, teams and individuals. Services include: company summit programming, team workshops and individualized coaching. All are designed to help teams garner the insights and inspiration needed to win business, launch a big idea, test a concept, solve an issue or communicate better.

Since starting Industrious, Carolyn has been a guest on the TODAY Show, a speaker at the Girlboss Rally at UCLA, panel moderator at The She Leads Media Conference and featured as part of Advertising Week’s AW Moms campaign alongside Katie Couric. She has also been included in Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global round-ups and was a guest on The Dreamcatchers podcast. Most recently, she was a speaker at The Women in Retail Conference, headlined by fashion designer Diane von Furstenburg.

Prior to Industrious and NYU, Carolyn was an executive at Condé Nast, PEOPLE Magazine/PEOPLE.com and Men's Health. Along with talented teams, she pioneered all brand positioning, storytelling, new business ventures, partnerships, branded content creation, events and advertising campaigns that drove record-breaking ad revenue. Coverage of these initiatives has appeared in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, WWD, Vogue and AdWeek

Always a passionate learner, Carolyn has a Master's Degree from Columbia University and a B.A. from Fairfield.
