What makes you proud to be an alum?
Being an NYU and CGA alum has been pivotal in my professional and personal growth. I am proud to be part of a network of incredible changemakers globally who have also been a part of this institution.

What are your main areas of responsibility in your current role?Provide strategic leadership to the organization; Developed and monitored over 50 education programs empowering over 5000 young people from under-resourced communities to upskill and launch meaningful careers in tech; lead Re:Coded's fundraising strategy; Build and lead a diverse team; Forge strategic partnerships to advance Re:Coded's strategy and vision.

How did your time at the CGA help prepare you for this role?
Re:Coded was born from my time at CGA - I first traveled to Iraq in 2014 as part of my masters and it was where the idea for the organization was born. While I have always focused my career on social impact, I found my vocation during my time at NYU in empowering youth people from underserved communities to thrive in the workforce of today and tomorrow. For this, I will forever be grateful for my time at NYU.
