Bennet Voorhees is the CTO and Cofounder of Ikona Analytics, where he builds machine learning products and AI-powered diagnostic tools for enterprise HR transformation. Ikona's clients include Fortune 100 organizations in pharmaceutical, consumer goods, automotive, and financial services. Prior to Ikona, Bennet held analytics leadership roles at Amazon, Expedia Group, and Merck where he built and led science and engineering teams inside people analytics functions serving global workforces. Earlier in his career, he was Head of Workforce Analytics at the Bank of New York Mellon and a Senior Manager of HR Advanced Analytics at Pfizer.
Bennet's work spans the full data science lifecycle: from data infrastructure and statistical modeling through production ML systems and executive communication. He has deep experience in compensation analytics, workforce planning, attrition modeling, and organizational network analysis. He is also the founder of Twenty-One Analytics LLC, a people analytics consultancy.
An economist by training, Bennet previously worked as a research analyst at the International Monetary Fund. He holds an MA in International Economics and China Studies from the Johns Hopkins University SAIS-Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies, and a BA in Economics and Chinese (Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Oregon. He is currently completing a professional certificate in AI from Stanford Engineering.
