Irvin Berelowitz

Irvin Berelowitz is an Adjunct at NYU SPS for several subjects including Project Management, Programming Languages, Database, and Integrated Marketing. He has been teaching at NYU SPS since 1997. Irvin worked in the computer industry for Bell Labs, B&H, Merrill Lynch, SIAC, and other financial and scientific organziations for more than 25 years. He holds an MA in Information Science from Brooklyn College and BA/BS degrees in C.S., Physics and Math, in addition to a PMP certification from PMI. AT NYU his teaching style is empowerment of students, encouraging them to contribute from their own experience or aptitiude to the course disciplines whenever possible. He also teaches at Polytech, Citytech, Baruch, and Parnassa (a division of Touro).
