David Gutschmit
Adjunct InstructorDavid Gutschmit is a retired CIA Operations Officer. In the course of a 37-year career, he completed numerous assignments abroad and at CIA headquarters. He held multiple management positions in CIA and elsewhere in the intelligence community.
Mr. Gutschmit is a 1980 graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. He received a master’s degree from John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in 1993. He has taught graduate courses on intelligence studies at Georgetown, Salve Regina University, and the U.S. Naval War College.
