Malin Tybahl

Adjunct Instructor

Malin Tybahl has taught at Columbia University, Linköping University, and the immersion program at SUNY New Paltz. Malin runs her own classes in New York, where she conducts private tutoring to both adults and children as young as 3 years of age. She received the honorable Teaching of Excellence award in 2014. In addition, Ms. Tybahl translates plays by the Swedish playwright August Strindberg; the first time translation of “Mr. Bengt’s Wife” and a new translation of “Playing with Fire” have both enjoyed successful stage productions in New York.

Work toward advanced-level reading, writing, and conversational skills in Swedish, while exploring Swedish history and literature.

Intermediate Swedish: Grammar and Conversation

Build on your existent Swedish knowledge through targeted grammar aimed at facilitating more varied and professional written and spoken expression.

Swedish Grammar for Heritage/Proficient Speakers

If you are fluent in spoken Swedish but do not have the reading or writing skills, take this course to round out your overall Swedish proficiency.
