Human Capital Management Certificate in People Analytics

Diploma Description

“People analytics” is the utilization of advanced analytics and a data-driven approach to workforce planning and strategy. With the abundance of data, more sophisticated computing algorithms, and analytical capabilities, the application of advanced analytics in talent management is now mainstream. Organizations are aggressively looking to leverage this power for human capital decisions for the enterprise.

There is a growing demand for HR professionals to analyze employee data, find patterns, and forecast trends to drive talent decision-making. People analytics is being applied extensively to enable more accurate HR decision-making in hiring the right talent, drawing insights into what drives employee motivation and performance at work, increasing retention, improving team formation, identifying potential leaders, and enhancing other processes.

The field of people analytics is relatively new and evolving. One of the challenges in its adoption has been a lack of HR practitioners with these analytical skills. We have identified four key discipline areas and skills needed to build the present and also future-ready capabilities. The Certificate in People Analytics will provide participants with knowledge in workforce analytics, data science, I/O psychology, and workplace automation. This certificate is conducted by a team of world-class academic faculty pioneers and corporate practitioners in the field of people analytics.

This certificate is awarded to students who successfully complete six courses: five required and one elective.
