NYU SPS Schack Institute of Real Estate to Host Its Popular Annual National Symposium of Women in Real Estate on September 21 in NYC

Keynote Speaker Sabrina Kanner of Brookfield Properties Joins a Powerful  Lineup of Leading Industry Women Experts Speaking at This Year’s Symposium

NEW YORK, August 23, 2023 - On September 21, at the New York Hilton Midtown, the NYU School of Professional Studies (NYU SPS) will host the Sixth Annual NYU SPS Schack Institute of Real Estate National Symposium of Women in Real Estate, where an influential group of women real estate executives and professionals will share their perspectives and insights on the state of real estate, industry trends, and career opportunities.

“Each year, the NYU SPS National Symposium of Women in Real Estate convenes women in senior leadership at the industry’s most prominent firms for a day of wide-ranging discussions on the current real estate market and forces shaping policy, investment, finance, development, and technology,” said Marc Norman, conference co-host, Larry & Klara Silverstein Chair in Real Estate Development and Investment, and associate dean of the NYU SPS Schack Institute of Real Estate. “The money raised from the event supports the Women in Real Estate Scholarship Fund and academic programs for graduate and undergraduate students at the Schack Institute of Real Estate.”

According to Stephanie Wright, conference co-host and clinical assistant professor at the NYU SPS Schack Institute of Real Estate, last year’s event attracted more than 400 attendees. “In addition to hearing from renowned industry experts and visionaries, our annual Symposium includes multiple networking breakouts and serves as a critical mentorship platform for the next generation of real estate industry leaders,” Wright added.
