Andrew Foley is Director of Development at Jonathan Rose Companies, a leading developer of green, affordable and mixed-income housing. Founded in 1989, Jonathan Rose Companies has completed over $4.2 billion of work, and currently owns over 19,000 units in 15 states. The company is widely recognized as a leader for design excellence, walkability and economic, social and ecological responsibility, creating successful models that also enhance the ability of their residents, communities and cities to thrive.


Andrew oversees development projects in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions with a focus on New York and Washington DC. Projects include Gowanus Green, a sustainable 950-unit community along the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn, Shore Hill, a 137-unit affordable senior housing project in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and The Faircliff, a 125-unit affordable building in Washington DC.


Prior to Jonathan Rose Companies, Andrew was Director of Development Services at Denham Wolf, where started a practice group dedicated to helping non-profit organizations pursue mission-driven real estate development projects in New York City. While at Denham Wolf, Andrew was responsible for negotiating development partnerships for over 1 million square feet of new development. Projects included 550 10th Avenue, 453-unit mixed-income residential development and a 125,000 sf homeless youth shelter for Covenant House, and 55 Suffolk Street, a 520,000 sf mixed-use project adjacent to Essex Crossing in the Lower East Side with 488 units of mixed-income housing and a 40,000 sf headquarters facility for Chinese-American Planning Council.


Andrew received a B.S. in Business Management from Babson College and a M.S. in Real Estate Development from New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate.
