As a real estate economist, Mr. Buchsbaum advises municipalities, corporations and developers on economic best use strategies for development sites. To date, he has guided the reuse of over $9 Billion in commercial real estate in this capacity throughout North America. Mr. Buchsbaum has also evaluated major projects for market and financial feasibility, need for municipal services and required municipal outlays, as well as validated over $200 million of incentives developers needed to facilitate local development projects.

Mr. Buchsbaum has extensive experience with adaptive-reuse of corporate and public sector land and building assets. He has formulated strategic programs and portfolio realignments, analyzed development opportunities and participated in public-private partnerships.  As part of this work, he formulated financial models, structured transactions and entitlements, as well as evaluated the risk/reward potential.  He has also advised numerous government entities on all levels on strategic economic development issues.  In addition to consulting, he has managed 2.5 million SF of commercial property, administered 1 million SF in construction projects and marketed commercial and multifamily properties.
