Allen Mogol is a writer and marketer who learned to write for the heart from Frank McCourt, the Pulitzer Prize winning author who was his high school creative writing teacher, and for the head at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Being able to combine the two has given him his career.
He researches and writes engaging copy for some of the best media companies, educational publishers and non-profits in the world: Sesame Workshop, Nickelodeon, Scholastic, the USC Shoah Foundation, the Girl Scouts of the USA, the Nederlander Organization, Disney, ABC News, NBC, Time Warner, Macmillan/McGraw-Hill, Simon & Schuster, the History Channel, the Anti-Defamation League, the College Board and many more.
He loves teaching at NYU SPS and is a proud recipient of its Award for Teaching Excellence.
