How did you come up with the idea for this business?
During Covid and with WFH mandate, I noticed a rising trend of people wanting to come to New York, work remotely and rent comfortable accommodations in “ local” neighborhoods. I saw whats being offered on the market didnt best address the growing demand - renting from airbnb is scary, hotels are too expensive and corporate housing units felt outdated or sterile - and I thought I can do better.
Why did you decide to participate in the HI Hub Incubator program?
Our business is a blend of hospitality and real estate - HI Hub Incubator couldnt have been a better fit as it is innovative and forward thinking, with amazing access to market players.
What do you enjoy most about creating your own startup business?
I’m in changge of my own destiny, I get to do what I love and build the team I’m proud to be a part of.
What advice would you give to someone contemplating founding a startup?
Be ready for fast turns, talk to customers a lot, surround yourself with smart people. Focus on what you love and delegate/outsource the rest as fast as possible.
What is something you learned through this process that you wish you’d known before you created your startup?
Being more methodical for sure. I get too excited sometimes.
What does the future of your startup look like in an ideal world?
My goal is to scale and sell it in several years.

Yes - I enjoy the mentors’ expertise, true willingness to help, and innovative approach. I really enjoy being asked tough questions and finding solutions.
