It’s a rare occurrence to be able to showcase your work in a world-renowned commercial district and tourist destination such as Times Square, but Piper Nicole Henriques, an adjunct instructor within the NYU SPS Division of Programs in Business (DPB), Integrated Marketing and Communications program, was recently afforded just such an opportunity, when her work was featured in the heart of New York City.
A consultant who works with a wide range of global, national, and local clients, Henriques designed a digital video billboard for leading out-of-home agencies Talon Outdoor and Buntin Out-of-Home Media to announce their new partnership, Talon-Buntin America. While she designed the digital takeover billboard, she also graciously acknowledged the many others who helped to make the billboard come to life in the very spot where the ball drops each New Year’s Eve.
Henriques teaches “Social Media Content Creation” and “Graphic Design for Digital Advertising and Marketing” for the School. “I love working on incredible projects like this one, and I also love to be able to teach and bring rich experiences to my students, giving them cutting-edge exposure in digital marketing, advertising, and design,” she said.
Henriques is a consultant for The Creative Group. Some of her digital and design projects include work for Bank of America, New York Community Trust, MoMA, NYU Center for Urban Science and Progress, NYC Media Lab, and Premion, among others.
