Abby Mack

Abby Mack, MA, is the Writing Coordinator at the Center for Applied Liberal Arts and a language lecturer within the English Language Institute. She has taught ESL reading, writing, grammar, and academic listening and speaking at the University of Oregon and the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. She has a graduate degree in Applied Linguistics from Teachers College, Columbia University and a BA in Spanish from the University of Evansville. Her research interests include second language literacy, second language assessment, and CALL. Abby is a trained reviewer for the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) and travels across the country to conduct site visits for English language programs.
