What makes you proud to be an alum?
CGA is not just an exemplary academic institution, but an engaging community of practitioners that has benefitted me well beyond my years of study there.

What are your main areas of responsibility in your current role?
Ms. Katherine Prizeman is a Political Affairs Officer with the Science, Technology and International Security Unit of the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs. Ms. Prizeman has been a staff member of the United Nations since 2013 working on various disarmament and non-proliferation issues from conventional arms to weapons of mass destruction. She currently focuses on cybersecurity.

How did your time at the CGA help prepare you for this role?
My time in CGA directly paved the way to building my career in international peace and security policymaking. The courses, professors and student colleagues informed my academic experience as much as they did my practical, real-world engagements.
