Applied Statistics
This statistics course offers an introduction to the statistical concepts and techniques used in diverse social science disciplines with a focus on single-variable (univariate) and bivariate (two-variable) data. The material provides a solid foundation in introductory statistics along with an introduction to SPSS statistical software package. This course is designed to expose students to the relevant statistical theories utilized in the social sciences thereby enabling students to enhance their statistical literacy and hone their skills in becoming a critical consumer of statistical research.
