Program Schedule
The NYUSPS High School Academy program experience begins with mandatory orientation on Sunday. Classes take place Monday-Friday. Students spend their days in class, studying, exploring the NYU campus and the City, and participating in evening events. Each student’s schedule may vary depending upon the program in which they are enrolled. It’s important to login to your NYU Student Center via NYUHome to confirm your course schedule before arriving. Here is a sample of a typical day at the NYUSPS High School Academy for students:
Sample Schedule of Weekdays for a Residential Student
7:00 a.m. – Get up and get ready for the day
8:00 a.m. – Collect NYU ID from hall front desk and get breakfast at an NYU Dining Facility
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Class
12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Get lunch at an NYU Dining Facility
1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Class
5:00 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. – Stop by NYU Dorm to drop off items and get ready for the evening
5:15 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Have dinner at a local restaurant or NYU Dining Facility
6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – Participate in residence hall evening event
9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. – Work on class assignments
10:00 p.m. – Turn in NYU ID to front desk in residence hall
11:00 p.m. – Go to bed

8:00 a.m. – Commute to campus
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Class
12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Get lunch at an NYU Dining Facility
1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Class
5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Work on class assignments, have dinner at a local restaurant or NYU Dining Facility
6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – Participate in residence hall evening event (optional)
9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. – Commute home
