Can I apply to multiple program sessions?

• Yes, you may apply to multiple Career Edge sessions by selecting one course per session.

How selective is the program?

• Career Edge is a selective program. Students are expected to work at the same pace as college-aged students. Students offered admission typically have a B grade point average or higher .

Is there an application fee?

• No, the application is free.

Where do I send my official transcript?

• An official copy of your high school transcript is required even if you have uploaded an unofficial copy with your application. All official transcripts must be emailed or mailed to our processing center:

When will I know my admissions decision?

• Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, which means we will review and act on complete applications as they are received. We encourage you to apply early, before the course in which you are interested in enrolling is filled to capacity.

What happens if the course I want is full?

• If your first choice is full (or closed), we will do our best to enroll you in a similar course or help you to find another course of interest. Courses are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage students to apply early.

Is financial aid available?

• Unfortunately, there is no financial aid available.

How do I cancel my application if I can no longer attend the program?

• If you can no longer attend a High School Academy program, you must notify us in writing immediately by sending an email to sps.hsacademy@nyu.edu .

What is the refund policy?

• Course drop requests must be received in writing and emailed to sps.hsacademy@nyu.edu . Drop requests received before the second scheduled class, are entitled to a 100 percent tuition refund. After the second scheduled class, there is no refund. Please note : Residential and meal expenses are not refundable after a student checks into the NYU residence hall. No refund will be given to any student dismissed from the program.
