Whether an experienced project manager or a novice, learn how to efficiently use industry-standard word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications to create effective communications for project management. This course will cover how to use project management software programs to create a project schedule from scratch. Become familiar with the theory behind project management, including task creation, predecessor and successor relationships, resource assignment, and reporting, in order to apply the concepts properly at appropriate instances during projects. Throughout the course, create templates and sample plans that can be used to manage real-life projects. Access to Project Libre (a free, opensource software) or MS Project is required for this course. Continuing Education Units (CEU) : 2.5
