Faculty Named as Top 30 Female Energy Market Analysts

Two NYU SPS Center for Global Affairs faculty members were recently named as Top 30 Female Energy Market Analysts by Gulf Intelligence.

Amy Myers Jaffe serves as Research Faculty and is the Director of the NYU SPS Energy, Climate Justice, and Sustainability Lab. She teaches courses on Global Climate Finance, Clean Technology, and will be leading a new course on Carbon Accounting this summer for the MS in Global Affairs program. She is an energy consultant and leading expert on the geopolitics of oil, energy, security and risk, and a thought leader on global energy policy and sustainability.

Rachel Ziemba is an Adjunct Faculty Member teaching a new course on Economic Statecraft this fall in the MS in Global Affairs program. Her research focuses on the interlinkages between economics, finance, and security issues. Her research topics include coercive economic policies such as sanctions, economic resilience and the role of state-owned investors including sovereign wealth funds.
