M.S. in Global Affairs ‘09

Concentration in International Relations

Currently, Gloria is an Executive Director at the Institute for Healing of Memories.

What makes you proud to be an alum?
I am proud to be an alum because of all I learned and experienced, the relationships built, and the community I continue to be connected with those that are working every day to make our world a better place.

What are your main areas of responsibility in your current role?
Direct and oversee the organization, its work and impact.

How did your time at the CGA help prepare you for this role?
What is amazing about CGA is that while there and forever after, you are connected to and part of a vibrant community of change-makers. All these years later, I am friends with staff, students I was at school with, other alums, and current students. The school and connections I made while there and over the years have brought great joy in relationships and played an essential role in my success as a nonprofit leader.

Any favorite memories at the CGA?
Walking into international law with Prof. Sylvia Maier knowing we would be friends for life. Her enthusiasm and passion for teaching was infectious and inspires me to this day.
