The NYU School of Professional Studies Center for Global Affairs welcomes the general public to its events at no charge. Space is limited and reservations are required. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, until we reach capacity.
The Public Events Series offered through the Center for Global Affairs features a provocative and diverse sequence of free public programs that examine global issues from a variety of perspectives.
Special Events for Spring 2017 include From Trolling to Trafficking; The Liberal State in Retreat?; Evaluating the Impact of the Trump Administration on the Nonprofit Sector; In Print: Naomi Hossain; The Iran Nuclear Deal; The Golden Age of Disinformation; and Volunteerism and Philanthropy.
This conference, held in February 2014, delved into the innovations and the technologies transforming the world's urban environments and the critical issues confronting them in the face of climate change.
