Real Estate Asset Management

These courses impart principles, specialized skills, and techniques for increasing the value of real estate assets under management on behalf of ownership. Learn components of asset management that directly affect the cash flow and underlying value of a single asset or a portfolio of assets. Topics covered include strategic business plans for individual assets or for a portfolio of assets, investor objectives and relations, the value proposition, maximizing value, commercial real estate transactions, acquisition and disposition within the framework of due diligence, operating and capital budgets, risk and diversification strategy, and distressed real estate analysis and resolution. Note: Registering at least two weeks prior to the start of the course date is highly recommended. Popular classes fill up quickly and more specialized classes need sufficient enrollment.
