NYC Experience

New York City is full of things to see and do during class time and free time. Through planned excursions offered by the NYUSPS High School Academy and NYU, students have the opportunity to explore all that the City has to offer. From Broadway shows to Time Square, the High Line to Battery Park, there are never enough hours in the day (or night) to take it all in. Course-related field trips throughout the City provide the connection between the classroom and industry that make this program unique.

Home to more than 8.5 million people, NYC is the most populus city in the United States. It has been described as the cultural, financial, and media capital of the world. What better place to learn about a career you may be considering? Students who participate in HS Academy programs are amazed at the size of the City and the incredibly diversity of the people who live here. They walk away with an amazing education  and a deep understanding of the rich array of cultures that makes this city great!

All HS Academy excursions are chaperoned. Students travel in groups for safety and are accompanied by staff members who know the City well. Learn more about life in NYC by watching the video above.
