Leading Teams in an Agile Environment

Develop the skills necessary to bring diverse individuals together into a cohesive, goal-oriented team. Learn to communicate the scope and importance of your project, to keep meetings on track, to deal with the challenges of managing a high-performance team, and to balance individual efforts with the collective efforts of the team, all toward achieving project goals and objectives. This course demonstrates team building and team management techniques through leadership development, and it is designed to help prepare project managers to address the complexities of managing diverse projects. Collaboration, connectivity, adaptability, creativity, and innovation are essential attributes in proactive project management. Through discussions, activities, reflections, and collaboration, learn how to carry an idea from its initial conception to a finished product or service. The content and subject matter presented in this class are aligned with A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)—Sixth Edition (Project Management Institute, Inc., 2017) and other appropriate Project Management Institute (PMI)® global standards.
