Meredith Willis
Adjunct Assistant ProfessorMeredith Sue Willis, MFA Columbia University and PhD (Honorary) West Virginia University, is a novelist who has taught novel and fiction writing at NYUSPS for more than thirty years. She is associated with Teachers & Writers Collaborative and the New Jersey Writers Project and was a Distinguished Teaching Artist of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Her twenty books from commercial, small, and university presses include Ten Strategies to Write Your Novel and Personal Fiction Writing as well as novels like Love Palace and short story collections like Out of the Mountains plus books for teens and children. The New York Times Book Review called her first short story collection “a[n]...important lesson on the nature and function of literature itself.”
