Kent Bhupathi

Kent Bhupathi

Adjunct Instructor

Kent Bhupathi is an industry econometrician and data scientist in NYC. While his specialisation is in
inferential statistics and applied regressions, he does delight in researching and leveraging other forms
of classification, clustering and estimation across his practice. Kent received his Master’s in
Econometrics from New York University’s GSAS and his two Bachelors’ degrees in Economics and
Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin.

Kent’s research has primarily revolved-around recession and business cycle forecasting. But, much of
that research has centred-on labour movements within the United States. This is what helped to grow
his interest in human capital management.

At present, Kent is also an adjunct faculty member of Columbia University’s SPS.
