Carol Clark
Adjunct InstructorCarol Clark holds an MS in Historic Preservation from Columbia and a BA from the University of Michigan. She is Director in the Office of the Chief Architect at NYC's Department of Design and Construction. Clark served as a Deputy Commissioner of the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, and held positions at the NY Landmarks Conservancy, Brooklyn Historical Society, Municipal Art Society and NYC's Department of City Planning. Her academic experience is in preservation planning, policy and practice. Clark has taught at Columbia University, Pratt Institute, and NYU's Real Estate Institute. She teaches in the Diploma in Historic Preservation Studies at the Center for Applied Liberal Arts at NYUSPS.
